Method
- Wash and remove the green tops of the tomatoes.
- Place tomatoes in blender and puree.
- In a large pot, add all ingredients and stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil.
- Let sauce simmer for a minimum of 3 hours until reduced. We usually cook ours for about 5 hours.
- Continue to check on the sauce and taste throughout. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
- Once the sauce has reduced by about half and is full of flavor. Enjoy!
